Bee Pollen
Buckwheat Honey:
Dark and rich, buckwheat honey is one of the more robust products of the bee world. Rightfully famous for its distinct aroma and very dark color this honey is the only 'syrup' you'll ever need at breakfast.
Net Weight 568 Grams / 20 Oz.
Rich and dark
Star Thistle Honey:
Raw Honey! Unfiltered, unheated, straight from the comb into the jar. May contain normal hive objects including wax, pollen, or bee parts. Very light and mild honey with a sweetness similar to clover. Highly prized for its mellowness.
Net Weight 568 Grams / 20 Oz.
New best seller!
Wildflower Honey:
When the bees put on the buffet, wildflower honey is the result. In wildflower honey no specific floral source is predominant in the area and the resulting flavor can be extraordinary. This is a golden amber wildflower honey with a long finish and is slow to chrystallize
Net Weight 568 Grams / 20 Oz.
The wild one!
Try some variety!
Tupelo Honey:
Similar in taste and texture to Acacia Honey. Due to its unusual sugar content Tupelo honey does not crystallize. World famous Florida honey produced along the creeks of the Florida Panhandle.
Net Weight 340 Grams / 12 Oz.
Southern goodness
Certified Organic Himalayan Honey:
White in color, finely textured, this honey is just perfect on savory breads such as sourdough or rosemary focaccia bread. You can skip the butter when using this honey. Very creamy, mild in taste, and spreads like frosting.
Net Weight 340 Grams / 12 Oz.
Creamy good
Certified Organic Wild Forest Honey:
When we sampled this honey we were quite surprised to find that it tastes remarkably similar to Manuka honey. Dark amber liquid rather than the thick pastelike consistency of Manuka this wild forest honey is a treat. This honey has a somewhat molasses or slight licorice taste. A real surprise and treat. Wild harvested.
Net Weight 340 Grams / 12 Oz.
Dark honey
Certified Organic Acacia Honey:
Very light amber in color this honey is sublime. With a mouth feel similar to the consistency of Blue Borage or Macadamia Nut Blossom honey. This honey has a very mild, semi-sweet flavor. Pair Acacia honey with stronger flavors. If it were up for an award this honey would win for "Best supporting honey".
Net Weight 340 Grams / 12 Oz.
Popular!
Blue Borage - Kind of Blue: Our long time best seller, Mountain Honey blue borage, is no longer available. We were finally able to find a suitable honey as a substitute. We have named this honey 'Kind of Blue' as our style hits all the right notes of the original.
Net Weight 500 Grams / 17.6 Oz.
Excellent Honey
Certified Organic Rata Honey: Produced predominantly from the Southern Rata on the West coast of New Zealand's South Island. One of nature's unpredictable flowers, Rata does not bloom every year which makes harvesting as unpredictable as the blooming cycle. On the tongue this monofloral raw honey has a very intense sweet/astringent flavor that quickly melts into a fine almost silky texture with a praline butter cream finish. In contrast to the fructose based sweetness of Blue Borage, Rata honey is glucose based yielding a sublime, nuanced flavor. Stir well before using. Rata honey is very finely crystallized. Certified Organic by Agriquality.
Net Weight 250 Grams / 8.8 Oz.
Our favorite
Certified Organic Honeydew Honey: Harvested from the secretions of aphids living in the bark of native black beech trees, this honey is named for its glistening aspect, mimicking the morning dew. Aphids are the nectar harvesters in this case and the bees harvest the "dew" from the aphids. High in minerals, antioxidants, antibacterials, and "active". Certified Organic by Agriquality.
Net Weight 500 Grams / 17.6 Oz.
Dewy
Certified Organic Thyme Honey: Strong and assertive, this honey is high in antioxidants as well as being "active". Thyme, a member of the mint family, is native to the Mediterranean and was brought to New Zealand by immigrants. Somewhat reminiscent of Rata, Thyme honey has a consistency like very soft taffy and "pulls" like caramel topping. Thyme honey is very silky with a full bodied flavor that has been desribed as cumin, lilac, and maraschino. The flavor has a very long finish. Use sparingly on timid dishes as it can overwhelm less robust flavors. Paired with other assertive flavors this honey will shine. Thyme honey has a very strong floral bouquet that may surprise you.
Net Weight 250 Grams / 8.8 Oz.
Robust
Certified Organic Active Manuka Honey: Manuka is the Maori name for Leptospermum Scoparium, a native tree of New Zealand. Manuka has been used for centuries in traditional folk medicine for treating colds, fevers, healing skin and stomach ailments. Known as the "healing honey of the tea tree", Manuka posseses strong curative properties derived from powerful anitbacterial agents and high mineral content. Manuka honey is found only in New Zealand. Certified Organic by Agriquality.
